Energy Observe started in 2009 with a simple idea: businesses deserve an energy partner that is genuinely on their side.
When we started in 2009, business energy was opaque and getting more so. Tariffs were confusing, renewals were easy to miss, and too many businesses ended up overpaying simply because the market was hard to navigate. We set out to fix that for our clients, as independent brokers with no ties to any supplier.
Since then we have grown into a consultancy that manages energy for more than 3,000 businesses across the UK, from single-site companies to large multi-site organisations. We compare more than 20 suppliers across gas, electricity and water, and we manage over 200 million kWh on our clients' behalf.
What has not changed is how we work. We still believe the value is in the detail and the relationship: getting the contract right, watching the renewal, sorting the billing query, and being straightforward to deal with. That is what keeps our clients with us year after year.
